LG TV – How to Avoid Start Up Static When Turning On the TV

Every time we turn the power button on on the LG TV, there’s the loud static sound that booms from the TV and the TV is set to Channel 2, with gray static. It gives me a heart attack almost every time.

So here’s how to edit that so the power on screen is a nice clean background.

After turning on the tv

Go to Settings

-> All Settings

Channels

-> Channel Tuning

Manual Tuning

Cable DTV

Select Add, and Close.

After, when you turn off the TV and turn it on again, a screensaver background will show up with all of your streaming options.
