I decided to make over a CB2 bar cabinet I got from Craigslist for $20. It was previously covered with marble contact paper by the last owner and we just felt it didn’t match the aesthetic of acacia wood and black handles that were going on.
Luckily, Amazon sells a really realistic black wood contact paper and I was able to turn what they call it in the DIY world, Trash to Treasure.
It wasn’t really trash, but the wood top had a lot of scratches and imperfections on it that made it look less appealing.
Check out how I redid the cabinet in this YouTube video.
